LESBIAN PIRATES!

Lesbian Pirates! is the untold true story of the ruthless, maverick and lesbian pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read. These two women met in the 1710’s while presenting as male pirates, fell in love, slaughtered swathes of men, stole treasure and escaped execution from the law. Previously erased from history, this inspiring, rebellious, and incendiary female narrative uses original music and a cast of queer, disabled performers to bring to life Anne and Mary’s sexy, turbulent world in this hysterical show.

Lesbian Pirates! is the brainchild of Natasha Sutton Williams (playwright, performer and disability activist) and is produced by Steph J Weller of PlayWell Productions (Old Vic 12; Stage One).
